Heeeey monster readers, this is Day 4 of the gratidude challenge and it'll be a quickie. I do plan to bring a long and thoughtful post about community, Steemit and you - the readers.

However, I could not leave this for another day, as the idea came while I was washing the dishes earlier today.

You can check my other positive days down below.

7 Day Positivity Challenge | Day 2 | Being Grateful For Being Alive
7 Day Positivity Challenge | Day 3 | Being Grateful For My Homeland

There is one small detail in everyones life that we only notice when we don't have - In some cases not having it means no life. This element that most of us take for granted and over use without thinking about it.

Once per week mom passes by my flat for a visit; she lives in another city, so this is one of the reasons I'm posting this in a less neat and thoughtful way. This doesn't mean I don't think this isn't important, in fact, it may be one of the most important posts of my series.

Anyway, at noon we were reunited in the kitchen preparing our lunch and I had Steemit opened to answear your awesome comments. As I was doing so, it occured me to tell mom about this challenge and how great the idea is. Awesome how it brings positivism into people's life as a whole, how we can find value on every small aspect of life.

Mom was standing there listening to me talk while being busy with pans and beefs. So, I continued.

     - The water we are using to wash the dishes! Aren't you grateful for being able to turn on the faucet and having freash water? - I said.

I was also telling her about the situation in Cape Town and how they do not have the chance we have. You can check the news HERE.

This is why I'm grateful for today: For having fresh, clean and drinkable water on my faucet.

Whenever you turn on the faucet for too long; or when you complain that it's disgusting drinking from the faucet; or those days that you stay way too long in the shower; or when you decide to fix that leak tomorrow, and never do. Remember, some places don't have water available.

It's a simple element of our life, that could potentialy kill us in one week in case we run out. Think about it.
