It has been a week since my last update regarding the TravelFeed beta. A lot has happened since and before we release the beta later this month, I want to share a few screenshots of what I archived in the past week of non-stop coding.

Dashboard
The "welcome" placeholder has been replaced with a proper dashboard that is as colourful as it is informative:
Location Picker
The editor has received a location picker: No more going to Steemitworldmap to obtain a code snippet, the location can be picked right from the editor! The selected location is not only saved in the json_metadata that populates the TravelFeed Hivemind, but also in a hidden Steemitworldmap code snippet attached to the post. For TravelFeed authors this means a chance to get curated twice!
TravelFeed map
Talking about Steemitworldmap.. You can now explore all curated TravelFeed posts on a map.
Discover New Countries - In the Sidebar
A collection of recently resteemed posts from a random country is displayed next to the feed in the "sticky" sidebar.
Explore Destinations
Explore posts by countries, subdivisions (state/province/..) and cities. You will also get a list of subdivisions or cities with existing posts that you can filter for.
Lightning-Fast Search
Don't want to click through the destinations list? Use the search to find posts for any place around the world!
Comment Editor
A new editor for comments. See your comments instantly after they have been published to the blockchain.
Boring Stuff
I implemented pages with placeholders and created the "Support us" page while @for91days is working on our terms of service, privacy- and cookie policy.
New Join Page with Statistics
The page for new user now shows some fancy statistics that are actually pretty impressive: There are over 10,600 #travelfeed posts (only counting valid posts over 250 words) from 1,150 different authors that earned a total of almost 100,000$ (after curation, excluding curation posts by @travelfeed)!
Feedback Wanted!
What do you think of the new features? How do you like the color scheme and the navigation bar? Which other features do you want to see implemented in TravelFeed?
