I will like to share with you today my knowledge about musical instruments especially the Saxophone. For those who have read my other achievements especially my introductory post, you will noticed that i play the Saxophone.
THE SAXOPHONE
"A saxophone is a single reed, woodwind instrument first developed in the mid-1800s by Adolphe Sax. It is composed of a mouthpiece, conical metal tube, and finger keys. Sound is produced when air is blown through the instrument causing the reed to vibrate. This sound is amplified as it travels through the instrument's main body. Saxophones consist of numerous parts and pieces which are made separately and then assembled." source
TYPES OF SAXOPHONES

Tenor Saxophone
The tenor sax is a Bb instrument. It’s the most popular of the saxophones. You’ll hear it the most out of all of the saxophones on records ranging from jazz to pop.
Alto Saxophone
The alto sax is an Eb instrument. The alto and tenor are the two most common saxophones. Some well-known alto saxophone players include: Charlie Parker, Cannonball Adderley, Kenny Garrett, Phil Woods, David Sanborn, and Maceo Parker.
Some people might be wondering now which saxophone i play. so I play the alto saxophone below is a picture of my personal saxophone. I bought it new from our nieboring country Nigeria for about $291. it a Yamaha alto saxophone and i have used it for about 2years. I hoping to get a new and better professional one someday
