Tok.. tok.. tok...
Whoops! Are those sounds of horse hooves? How can it be when I am at the playground? Not possible.
I turned around and saw kids running by. I was busy minding my own business, struggling with speed and breathing hard whilst running. My phone was dying and no music was no good for my performance.
I decided to have a quick run after reaching home from work tonight as hubby took charge of making dinner. Y'know, I just gotta complete my 10k steps! š š
I was halfway through when I saw these two policemen riding these horses. What a way to patrol the neighborhood eh?!
I have heard before that some police patrol the neighborhood on horses, but it was my first time to see them. I did not dare to photograph them, as I was not sure if I can do it. I don't want to be in trouble. Nope.
Parking Update
So I shared the other day about the mystery of the missing parking area. I was happy to share I did not find a ticket the following morning but I was not lucky enough today. We woke up today to a AED 200 ($53) fine. I was so upset but nothing can be done really. This evening I parked the car to the nearest parking area there is-- almost a kilometer far from our house.
I know this will help me get my actifit steps, but I cannot imagine this scenario during the hot summer months when temps hit as high as 50Ā°C and humidity is high too! š¢šØšØ
