New project being supported - The Girls Foundation in Nigeria @girlsfoundation
I have been watching this project develop since it started nearly a month ago.
It is run by @faetee supported by @meemee and @crystalll.
The aim of the Foundation is to fight for girls rights, who deserve equal rights and respect.
The Girls Foundation is a project set up to enlighten young ladies of their norms and value, advocate for the girl-child, encourage and support them with the little we can.
Its work covers the areas of domestic violence, rape and girls education.
It is already doing great work taking its message to girls and women in Nigeria through seminars and outreach activities.
A Dollar A Day gave its first donation of 15 SBD to the Girls Foundation yesterday.
Delelgations & Auto-voter
The @adollaraday account currently has 5,601.419 SteemPower. As well as my delegation of 5,000 SP, this has been supported by delegations from @steevc and @cryptocurator.
All delegations, of any size, would be most welcome.
Using the free auto-voting tool SteemAuto by witness @mahdiyari the following donees are currently being supported with 100% upvotes, once per day :

Donations update
I will save the full financial updating for an end of month report, but in brief so far in June A Dollar A Day has given donations totalling 300 SBD to 10 different projects around the world.
Unfortunately due to the continued fall of the value of SBD this donation total is only equivalent to US$ 451, so it is very unlikely we reach the US$ 1000 target again this month.
The projects supported so far this month have been @schoolforsdg4 and @womenempowerment both in Bangladesh, @thegreens in Cameroon, For a Better ClassHOME @yanzel4lyf in the Philippines, @girlsfoundation in Nigeria, @papilloncharity in South Africa, Project Dudeland @bigdude, Project One Opportunity @carlagonz and SteemChurch Venezuela @sc-v all in Venezuela, and @familyprotection.

How you can help
The success of this project obviously depends on the generosity of the people of steem.
It is based on the little and often idea of giving - a dollar (SBD) a day is all it takes to get involved as a donor.
If you can give for a month, or for a week, that will be fantastic. But if you can only spare a few SBD for a few days that is still most welcome. The project is designed to run on donations of all sizes and frequencies.
If you would like to become a donor to the project all you have to do is send however many SBDs you would like to give to @adollaraday with a memo saying Donation for A Dollar A Day and you will be added to the daily donation pool for however many days your SBDs last.
I am also always on the lookout for new causes and projects to support - particularly in countries where we are not yet giving any support. If you know of any causes that might be suitable please leave a comment below or message me on Discord (Pennsif#9921).
June is my one year anniversary on steem month. I am delighted to be able to contribute back through A Dollar A Day to the amazing steem community I have been lucky enough to find myself a part of it.
