The Silent Carcinogen That Everyone is Exposed To

Do you suffer headaches and fatigue; depression, anxiety and fear; trouble concentrating; sleeplessness, insomnia or nausea? If you do, you might be suffering from this exposure...

We’re more than aware of Electromagnetic Radiation in our homes and our workplaces. But did you know that a flooding of it can compromise our immune systems and even our emotional states?

The effects vary from person to person, but EMR exposure – depending on the types you are exposed to, affect our overall health and wellbeing.

Radiation exposure in any dose is risky to the body. Repeated exposure naturally increases the frequency of ill-effects suffered. Depending on the EMR and the amounts the body is exposed to, you can suffer headaches and fatigue; depression, anxiety and fear; trouble concentrating; sleeplessness, insomnia and nausea. In a worst-case scenario, heart problems and low immunity have also been documented along with infertility and, potentially, DNA breakage.

Scientific studies by the hundreds, if not thousands, have shown that everyday levels of EMR alter the body on a cellular level. It is suspected that certain magnetic fields created from overhead power lines are linked to increased rates of childhood leukemia.

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has gone as far as classifying everyday magnetic fields over 4milliGauss as a Class 2B carcinogen.

Although you may not be able to control where you live or in what environment you work, you can reduce your exposure to EMRs at home.

EMR can be emitted from various technologies in the home, including:

Smart Meters
Cordless and Mobile Phones
Baby Monitors
WiFi
Digital TVs
Bluetooth Devices
Smart Watches
Fluorescent Lighting
Laptops and Tablets
Electrical Appliances and Microwave Ovens
In the Digital Age, it’s important to recognize that although our electronic devices make life all the more convenient, if you suffer any of the mentioned symptoms, it may be time to switch off. Simple changes to your life, such as turning off the phone of a night and moving it to another living space other than your bedside table, might help those sleepless nights become more peaceful.

Parents with baby monitors may want to resort to keeping the newborn baby in their own room until the child is old enough to self-settle in their own bedroom, thus eliminating the use of a monitor. For those reliant on their Bluetooth devices – do they really need to be switched on 24/7? For those with Smart TVs, why not opt for a book every other night instead?

There are endless ways to minimize your exposure to EMR. And although you may not be immediately sensitive to their emittance, ask yourself if you really want to be constantly bombarded with radiation on a daily basis.
