Replying is one of the things to do to interact with your followers and new viewers. Make the most of this by try to replay to most of the comments you get, it will really help in the long run! Answer question they have or just saying thank you to a complement it really helps.
Leaving Comments
Really try to leave a least a couple meaningful comments everyday. And some newer users might not know this but comment can earn a decent amount of steem dollars and power too. Just look at a comment i left the other day! 
Follower Interaction
When making a post try talking directly to your followers no matter how small or big that list may be. Hi to all my recent followers and thank you for finding me somewhat enjoyable <3
