My entry to All About Sunset contest hosted by @gingbabida.
The photo I have for this week contest was taken last spring during an evening hike. The beautiful painting that nature was adorning in front of my eyes was breathtaking.
Sky and clouds were clad in gold as if the sun wanted to give the world a final gift: the promise of a new day. The trees were forming black silhouettes as they were gazing at the sun slowly disappearing after the mountain.
Perhaps this sunset would have been an ordinary one without the clouds. Paulo Coelho beautifully summed the ingredients of a wonderful sunset:
