As a part of that huge hall we've rented from the Acapulco International Center we've also secured this cool office area. It's actually a huge room with 17 small room in it we have free control of for the forking festivities. We've got a plan for this area that I'll share a bit more below.
We are planning on renting out 5 of these rooms during the fork for a fee. Prices will be based on how long you need it, so contact us if you want to reserve one of these rooms for sure. The other 12 rooms will be first come first serve, meaning anyone interested in holding a talk or workshop in one of these rooms needs to reserve it with us ASAP with the time needed. We have these rooms for the same days we have the hall, February 23-25.
These rooms are open for anything from a store selling your wares to just holding it for a few hours to give a workshop or a speech or to present something. It’s pretty open ended so if you think you need a small private space for what you want to do at the fork contact us.
More news to come as we’ve been working our ass off for everything from outreach to looking into more options for lodging for all of you forkers.
