What Are The Advantages of Anarchy (Serious Answers Only Please)?

True freedom

The headline say is all. Pure unbridled freedom from the control of the status quo. Most of the arguments that lean towards the status quo put out the crap that anarchy can't deliver on its promises, and with it only comes theft, rape and no taxation etc.

That may well be true, but these abuses are already present within our government systems, and not even the state can stop them. Just look at the war of the drugs and the war on terror. War begets more war. Governments throughout history could be said to cause 100% of all murders. How can you argue against that?

The government history is not good

Even the worst anarchists in history can't come close to what states have done. Charles Manson is no match for Pol Pot. Most of the status quo demand some kind of modern utopia, as both the left and right of politics have failed due to the centralization of government. Only dencentralization can truly give the people what they want. Could EOS or Steemit be used to run a fully transparent society that gives us utopia? Who knows. Decentralization would be some kind of start.

The state is an institution and you are its tool - if you so choose to be. Many suck at the government teat for life, so some form of support will always be required for those kind of people. They will always require to be guided even in a decentralized system.

The abolition of the state would indeed cut down on the empire building skills of our politicians, and less men in tents would be carpet bombed on a daily basis. Just last week 200 innocents were killed in a coalition bombing attack in Mosul, Iraq to remove stubborn IS militants:

To conclude, perhaps we are asking the wrong kind of question in this modern age of centralized government. Perhaps we should be asking "What are the advantages to there being states to run people's lives?" I for one, would love to know the answer to that question!
