Why I'm a Marxist, Anarchist, Libertarian, Liberal, Conservative

  1. Marxist because who doesn’t want a utopia? It is an amazing system as long as everyone is equally motivated, government doesn’t exist, and power is equally distributed.

  2. Anarchist as in the above without forced sharing of resources. I don’t believe we can ever live in a society where people are equally motivated. Thus, anarchism is more of a viable solution. But I do believe in micro communism amongst groups who share similar goals and motivation ranges.

  3. Libertarian in the sense that government, power, or rule, should never impede on the individual’s freedoms of body and person. Pretty much anarchism. But it implies there is some form of rule. I don’t think we could ever have a human society without rules. So when rules, whether spoken or unspoken, are conceived, they shouldn’t interfere with the freedom of the people or individual.

  4. Liberal as I believe in protecting the less fortunate, oppressed, and disenfranchised. I believe discrimination is real, and power hoarding will always exist in human structures. There needs to be some force that balances this, and disrupts the power centers to create a healthy flow of resources. Otherwise, it all will eventually rot.

  5. Conservative in regard to finance, culture, and technology. Spending resources should always be done in a manner to conserve and protect the resource. I believe we should preserve all that is good and functional from the past. In my perspective some of these are, efficient hand tools, certain natural medicines, certain agricultural practices, crafting of all kinds, artisanal works, the arts, philosophy, mythology, living with the seasons and moon, hunting and gathering, wild edibles, and shamanism. Integrating these into our society connects every human viscerally to their rich past. These should be augmented with today’s technology and understanding not replaced entirely. On that matter, we should also be cautious in adopting new technology, as it often comes with many unwanted side affects to our health, culture and psyche. Now this requires balance, go too far right and you have the Amish, too far left and you have Lil Yachty. We need to progress forward while integrating our past in a healthy and functional way. In this manner, I’m conservative.
