Out of all the shots I have taken over time of my mother's cat Phoebe, this was the most challenging one to get. As any cat owner knows, cats are notoriously uncooperative and love to never sit still when you want them too. So to get this shot I had to be very patient and very lucky.
I spent an hour lying on my belly on the floor in front of her while she kept looking over in every direction except mine. With the shallow depth of field I was using and the fact that the lens is a manual focus only lens, I ket having to readjust the focus every time she moved as well. It was very frustrating. Finally I managed to get this shot. Its not perfect but given the circumstances I was pretty pleased to get something this good!
So I am submitting it to @juliank's daily photochallenge animalphotography.
Thanks for Looking.
