When you think about the historic Paris, the city of love, you don't really think there is anything modern about it. Right? On our trip to Paris we decided to go and take a look at the major business district of Paris, called La Défense.
According to Wikipedia, La Défense is Europe's largest purpose-built business district. It covers 560 hectares, about 72 glass & steel buildings, 180 000 daily workers, and 3500,000 square meters of office space!
The Grande Arche is fairly impressive and we ate at the fanciest Mc Donald's I've ever been to. Even though I enjoy the old-school European architecture a lot more, it was interesting to explore something else for a change.
Tell me what you think and stay tuned for more!
