A few weeks ago, I was walking through downtown Los Angeles and took a photo of a skyscraper while on my way to Grand Central Market. It wasn't doing much for me in color. Then I tried a monochrome edit that I liked better but I still wasn't loving it. Then I went full noir for something really dramatic. This edit I like.
