It is said that this balcony in the place where the Independence was declared and where our flag was first waived. In fact it was all done on a window facing the street. This balcony was added later in remembrance of the declaration.

The mansion started out as a humble house made of wood and straw in 1845. The year 1849 is when the actual re construction occurred until 1921.

This house holds a lot of secrets, compartments and passageways during the time of revolution. Secret meetings and strategic planning all happened at this place.

The back side of the mansion you would notice the Spanish influence along the windows and the roof is also designed with insignia of battle and a symbol of the country.

The back of the mansion is very wide with a lot of ancient trees and also the burial place of the president.
With the trees around this place the air is very cool and perfect to spend the afternoon. Thinking of the times during this era when the time the president also spent some time here.
