ENJOY FORMALDEHYDE

Hello steem,
This is a design l did a while ago for one of my customers,l actually drew the zombie pinup first,so when she asked me for a whole 50s,diner horror sleeve we agreed on including it

I liked the way it came out so l decided to make some prints with the slogan ‘Enjoy Formaldehyde ‘ a nod to the ‘Enjoy Coca-Cola’ ad campaign.
We also included that into the sleeve
At that time l didn’t have an ipad,so the process was a bit more old school,
l drew a sketch on a piece of paper and retrace it several times until l would feel confident with it,then trace it again straight with a sharpie,so l wouldn’t have to erase any pencil lines.

Then over the course of few sessions tattoo it into the sleeve.
The rest of the arm consisted on more 50s spooky designs,l really like ads,so l thought it would be a fun idea to incorporate some fake horror/houseware ads to it
I don’t have the pics with me right now but l’ll look for them and make another post about them.
