I have loved classic cars and trucks ever since I was a little girl. To me there is just something romantic about them.
I decided I would start the new year off by just doing a simple exercise in watercolor as I'm still trying to figure out how the Koi Watercolor brush pens I bought a few weeks ago will fit into my art. The truck is a bit rough, I sort of went for the vintage cartoon look. Definitely difficult to get the shading just right as it doesn't work anything like acrylics or charcoal from what I can tell.
So that's that...my first piece for 2017!! Hope you like it! I am trying to broaden my horizons with different mediums this year. Oh lordie, is that a resolution?
