The Art of Quilling Paper - Air Balloon

Thank you guys! I have reached 200 followers and I'm celebrating with a balloon ride. Well not a real one, but maybe one day. Thank you for your support and kind words.

Supplies
●slices of coloured cardboard:red, orange, yellow, light blue and blue
●slotted tool to make the curling coils
●scissors to cut the slices of cardboard
●liquid glue
●pencil, eraser
●drawing ink for the trees and lower part of the balloon

The first thing that I did was a quick sketch of the air balloon.

Next I made the balloon contour with the five colored slices.I glued all of them on paper and then I proceeded with making the quilling shapes: circles, teardrops and others.

You can see in the above picture that the slotted tool has a space where I insert the end of the paper and then proceed to roll it.

After I was done quilling and gluing all the pieces on the white paper I made a pencil drawing of some trees and the lower part of the air balloon.

I then colored them with drawing ink.

I hope you enjoyed this example. Feel free to check my other quilling post or my pyrography posts.
