Hi, creative Steemians!
Today, I am doing my 3rd watercolor painting. This time, I am painting for the nature. I hope you like it :)
REVIVE NATURE
We are very lucky to have the earth. It answers our needs and wants, our dreams and aspirations, and everything we long in life. But, is she lucky enough to have us?
The paradise we live in is deteriorating. Simply because mankind is unkind. The effects of its deterioration is very alarming.
What can you do for it?
Personally, some of the little ways I do to help keep the beauty of nature is by not throwing my garbage anywhere. I still practice until today the very long time program called "Basura Mo, Ibulsa Mo", this means keeping your trashes in your pockets.
So, I wish that everyone will help to keep our nature. It's not too late to change our wrong practices and revive the paradise that was once a picture of this earth.
For this watercolor art practice, I used:
• Koi Watercolor
• Water Brush
• Canson Quality Watercolor Pad
Again, I am still on my practice with this medium. But, I am hoping to really be good with watercolors. Here is the process.
• Gridding, sketching and use of Masking Tape to protect the borders from messing up.
• Skin Coloring. Here I chose to start with the lighter color of the skin to avoid messing up with darker shades.
• Skin Coloring. Then I added darker shades.
• Then, I added the details and features of the face.
• Hair and Background. I used a black color for the hair and added highlights using light colors to represent flowers and leaves.
• Then, I removed the masking tape carefully.
• Now, here is the final look of my watercolor paint of REVIVE NATURE.
I hope you enjoyed my blog and my 3rd watercolor painting practice. I would love to hear comments and suggestions from you to improve more.
Create and Keep Steeming!
Sincerely yours,
