Paper Dancer
Esta obra es un poco diferente a todas las demás de mi autoría, muy lejos de mi zona de confort, saliendo un poco de la rutina del realismo y el Hiperrealismo, intenté dibujar algo que saliera totalmente de mi imaginación para participar en el "Steem Monsters Art Contest", se trata de una Bailarina con 12 brazos y un cuerpo exageradamente alargado, sin ojos y con una boca grande, su vestido da la impresión de estar hecho de papel, de ahí el título de la obra.
Este pequeño dibujo lo realicé usando una técnica mixta, empleando bolígrafos, lápices de colores, polvo de grafito y marcadores.
This work is a bit different from all the others of my authorship, far from my comfort zone, leaving a bit of the routine of realism and Hyperrealism, I try to draw something that came out of my imagination to participate in the "Steem Monsters Art Contest", it is a Bailarina with 12 arms and an exaggeratedly elongated body, without eyes and with a big mouth, with a dress of the impression of being made of paper, hence the title of the work.
I made this small drawing using a mixed technique, using pens, colored pencils, graphite powder and markers.
El Proceso
The Process
Para evitar errores en la construcción de el cuerpo, el boceto inicial lo hice con lápiz grafito 4H y luego lo marqué con bolígrafo, empecé a darle volumen en la zona del vestido de una manera geométrica, y luego le di sombra al cuerpo, dejando por último la zona de los brazos con todos sus detalles, usando además un toque de color piel en la parte superior de la bailarina y color rojo en el vestido.
Para finalizar, pinté de rojo los laterales de la cartulina, y de negro la parte inferior con bolígrafo de una manera uniforme.
To avoid errors in the construction of the body, the initial sketch was made with 4H graphite pencil and then I marked it with a ballpoint pen, I started to give volume in the area of the dress in a geometric way, and then I gave shade to the body, leaving at last the area of the arms with all its details, using also a touch of skin color on the top of the dancer and red color on the dress.
Finally, I painted the sides of the cardboard in red, and the bottom in black with a ballpoint pen in a uniform way.
