Before my second visit to the Singapore I decided to explore some of the street art in the district of Kampong Glam.
Among the cultural lnadmarks, as the beautiful Sultan Mosque and preserved shophouses, one can find a surprising number of street art.
This is the area that used to be the quarters of Arab merchants. Arab street and Haji Lane with its bazars and shisha cafes, Middle Eastern food and shops, is also the area where the city got its first street art.
The murals discovered on this walk was very colorful. Some covering whole walls. Some so small that are easy to overlook.
Singapore surprises. Check it out if you should happen to be there.
