In the inner city of Aalborg, Denmark the artist Don John has painted two murals. He is both a street artist, but also uses orther techniques as linoleum and illustrations. His paintings can be seen in Copenhagen, New York, Munich, Berlin, Paris, Tokyo. Aalborg has now two of his paintings.
Most of his work show humans, animals and civilizations in transformation. His motifs create exciting stories about our culture. With a mix of darkness, fragility and innocence, most of all reminiscent of images from a dream. I think this painting shows that fragility.
