STREET ART – Ernest Zacharevic in Singapore

DSC_021.jpg

One of my favorite street artists is Ernest Zacharevic.  After I saw a mural in Stavanger by the Lithuanian artist Ernest Zacharevic, I became eager to learn more about him and his art. Before visting Singapore I checked if he had some work here. And he has. The photo above, is his painting of a girl with av lion cub. A large painting, covering a wall. Victoria Street is perhaps best known for his work, and easy to walk from one mural to the other.

Kid on a giant exclamation mark

He became internationally known in 2012 when he made a series of 6 pictures to a cultural festival in Georgetown. Eventually he has made street art many places in the world.

«Kids in trolleys»

This mural has part of an actual trolley attached to the wall, and the kids are painted on the wall.

«Boy in window»

His work is stunning. Absoluty worth checking out :)
