New Challenge open! Steemit Post Art Challenge - PAC #1 - Theme: Steemit Mascot (50 SBD up for grabs)

I did a Steemit search for mascots and I heard a lot of mentions and talk about creating a Steemit mascot, I found a post where people put there Steemit mascots in the comments. Some of them were good. But no final decision post, reward post or mascot presentation was made! It's been a while and none of the Steemit mascots seem to have stuck from those posts. Here are a few that were posted back then that I liked..

The above examples are just ideas. It does not have to be a whale. You think about what Steemit is, and what it does. Then create a mascot befitting what Steemit is to you!

I want to take our mascot to the next level! The best mascot will be chosen from this challenge and then we will have a future challenge to refine and perfect OUR mascot!

**When creating these think about it's size and how they will look in the post, think how they would look posted on other sites too! **

Challenge Rules

• No more than 3 entries will be considered, if you post more than 3, only the first 3 will be considered.

• Deadline for entries are June 28th at 1AM UTC time, or 9 PM Pacific Time. With the winner revealed on June 30th!

• All entries must be in a post tagged both #postartchallenge and the #art tags.

• The Title should contain "PostArtChallenge Theme 1 - Steemit Mascot" along with the entry number and name of your mascot (title of your work).

• Judgement on winners will be made by me and a select group of other judges that are yet to be decided. Along with possible special guest judges once in awhile! Judge information will be updated once available!

Prize payouts

The total payout for the first challenge will be as follows:

• 1st place: 25 SBD's

• 2nd place: 15 SBD's

• 3rd place: 5 SBD's

• With a few bonus SBD's for honorable mentions

Totaling a 50 SBD payout for the first theme!!

**20 SBD's were donated by @papa-pepper to start this challenge. So thank him kindly if you would!

Future SBD prizes will go up or down depending on the post payout and community interaction!

Any comments, questions, or concerns. Feel free to leave them in the comments below! Or comment your idea for what you think the mascot should be below and maybe, the artists will look there for inspiration!

Please upvote and Resteem this. I would like this challenge to gain traction so I am able to continue doing it! I would also like to see as many entries as possible, because each entry is a piece of art that can be added to improve the quality of all our future posts!
