There has been only time that i did a drawing of an elephant.
This work i did around maybe 3 years ago. I can not really explain why it is still my one and only work of them,but i guess i did not have enough motivation to do more.
For works that are mot commissions i need a reason. A reason why i will make an artwork. Every work for me symbolizes something and more offten in my path i have tried not to make art that everybody wants, but something that will make others think and questiom things. That is a purpose of art in general i think.
Even taking the fact that i made this three years ago,it looks very good. The skin looks realistic, and even then i managed to get the highlights and everything.
I also remember that i sold this work. To client from Spain i think.
After looking at my earlier works and remembering how and why i did them i more than often have this need to do more. I get in some way inspired. So maybe in the near future you will see a new work with this incredible creature!
