Technology!
As a tech challenged person I was a bit stumped with this one.
Last week I committed to a month of creating three dimensional art.
So I got building.
Yes this was a 100% manual build.
I did some digital playing which I'm a bit proud of, because I truly am behind the times when it comes to technology.
I like the portrait shots.
A little creepy.
As I said I physically built this guy from-
Three old phones
A DVD
A little speaker head
An iPod shuffle
Some sockets, pods, plugs, bolts, electrical wire, soldering wire, batteries, a unicorn drill bit, head phones, USB...
All upcycled material.
Except the desperate bit of tape, that I regret using, but I gave into the frustration of trying to smash it out fast with wire wrapping, while my toddler became less and less tolerant of the process.
My husband is a gadget guy.
He builds things that actually function with this stuff. So I had some cool things on hand to raid and play with.
