A few days ago I wrote a post suggesting that I start a weekly Digital Artist Showcase in which a selected steemit digital artist of the week will be featured along with their digital work - 3D design, digital painting, video effects etc. Alongside this I plan a weekly themed competition with prizes to be decided. I was happy to see so much interest expressed with some great offers of help to set it up from fellow steemians @imagin8orr and @ryivhnn and I am here to announce the inaugural competition.
I want a banner made to head the Digital Artist Showcase posts and therefore to be the featured image in the post listing. It has to be 100% digital (sorry traditional folk, there are other competitions on steemit :p ) and totally your own work. It must be eye catching and feature the title Digital Artist Showcase. A 800x480 resolution is ideal but if it is larger you can expect it to be cropped or resized should it be the winner.
From the video effects gurus I would like a 2 GIFs to liven up all future posts, similar in size to the one above. They don't have to have the name Digital Artist Showcase featured as long as they are cool and within the theme of the Showcase.
10 SBD will be awarded to the designer of the banner

Total prize fund = 30 SBD
