Stylized portrait for my friend @trafalgar :) (process inside)

Dear @trafalgar, thank you so much for supporting me, and for your wonderful interesting posts too:) I hope you'll like this little gift from me for you!:)

And a few process photos:

I used to start with line art when I make stylization, and with a spot when I plan to make a portrait without contour. This time I go with stylization, so I start with trying to catch the face proportions. To tell the truth it never works for me on this stage, to make model recognizable I always have to add light:)

Adding basic colors and a messy background. Everything on separate layer, UNDER the layer with line art.

Usually I start with shadows, to know where the darkest spots are. Afterwards I'll have no darker areas, so I'll continue working only with light:)

Stylization loves bright colors. At least in the way I do it:)

I not really good in painting clothes, but here Trafalgar has perfect match on him - black jacket with white T-shirt. Super classic solution:)

Signing the gift:)

And this is where it finishes:)

Thank you for watching:)

Love, Inber
