Hello Steemian friends,

Have I got more pages for you? Of course I do! Last time we checked in on Shanti and co., we ended up with a nice kiss and the beginning of a flashback. Today's pages are among my favorite ones, because the pacing changes and there's plenty of humor, which I feel is needed after all that dark stuff. Assistant shines through as a "human" robot and Sekhmet is quite embarrassed... But then, a new change in tone sets in. Read on and enjoy!

A little background information about the world our characters live in. All of them were born and raised in Kemet-Ra, the most technologically advanced and powerful country in the world (that is an alternate version of Earth from another dimension). Although officially neutral with respect to foreign affairs, Kemet-Ra is an active participant in several wars against pretty much the rest of the planet, called the Outerlands. Sekhmet used to be a pretty high-ranking officer of the Kemet-Ra forces, but she is now a wanted war criminal on the run, and lives in hiding in the Outerlands. With the next installment, a bit more of her past will be revealed. Shanti, instead, is a nurseon (or a specialized nurse with MD and crisis/emergency training) and runs a hospital in the Outerlands for war victims. This will also be shown in a bit more detail next times. As for Blitz (and her strange-looking eyes)... make sure to check out the next episode on The Green-Eyed Sniper ;)
