IMAGINE DRAGONS🔥

My artwork is specially made for @topkpop's art contest with the theme "imaginary."

Mixing traditional art and Digital art sure is a fun exploration! It's two separate processes but it's not boring at all and it helps speed up your drawing time and it can have varied outcomes.

TRADITIONAL ART PROCESS✏️

materials:

• Colored pencils
• Pencil
• Paper

🎨 Here are the work in progress pictures

✓ sketch and start coloring

✓ try to put in details and a color scheme to go with each dragon. I just looked at horned lizard pictures and gecko pictures.

✓ Darken the eyes well and try to finish their faces

✓ this will be ready for editing

DIGITAL ART PROCESS✏️

Tool:

• Paperone app
• Cellphone
• Stylus

✓ I put in white and grey to the surroundings and smoke

✓ I add fire too
Colors:

• Yellow
• Orange
• Pink
• Blue
• Purple

✓ I darken background with some:
*Blue

• Purple
• Grey
• Black

✓ I also fill in the colors for the dragons neck and darken the background.

✓ i create the moon or lighy in the sky and the stars using:

• Crayon and watercolor brush effect
• Colors yellow, red, orange, blue, purple, grey and white.

✓ eyes of the dragon!
I put dark outlines, highlights and light reflections.

✓ I put embers flying about using warm colors. Just create dots and one over the other.

✓ clean up! Make sure colors harmonize and darken/lighten areas you think need adjustments.

I just adjust contrast and vibrance to enhance it!
