I have aways been fascinated by water. The dark waves roaring a windy autumn storm. @marty-arts helped me share the information about my Art Guide so I figure I make a contribution to her 500 followers celebration contest. I am visiting an artist friend and spent my day experimenting with watercolor and dedicated one painting to this contest, thanks @marty-arts for good watercolor inspiration!

Process

Sketching
Masking using masking fluid - When masking dry - adding paint and using the spray bottle to to lead the water. It created the wave patterns by itself.
Continuing this painting process from the top to the bottom.
At last remove masking and smudge the sharp edges with a toothbrush. Also adding some more detail to the whale.
