In my continued effort to promote and improve the artistic community here on Steemit I am starting a weekly curation! Most of the artists I have chosen are still minnows and are waiting to be discovered and others that I will feature have just plain impressed me :)
The first fantastic account I came across this week is @georgeboya! George's posts caught my eye because of their striking colours and compositions. His hand cut collages are breathtaking, the piece below is called "The Girl With The Angelic Face". Very inspiring!

Up next is @deborahmurphoils, Deborah is a relatively new artist on Steemit who primarily works in oils but the art that caught my eye was this mixed media "Selfie" on plexiglass. Her blog has some excellent work on it and I think she will do well here on Steemit!

Twins by @apolette is a stunning surreal canvas that I saw in the art category and I'm glad I did. Apolette's page is an absolute dream of surreal and intriguing art and he only has 88 followers at this time! Go give him a follow and encourage this artist!

@foiesushi only has two posts at this time so an ultra newbie but I see a lot of promise here :) I absolutely love the style of this food van, it is very reminiscent of a manga/comic book style ! I want to see more of this @foiesushi so get to posting!

@ryanseslow is not only a great artist but also a great writer. I came across this post of ideas for artists to generate income (accompanied by his wonderful art). I suggest all artists give this a read, he has also just added another post regarding artists and money which you can find below the art.

My last feature for this week is @mrgreen! I absolutely love everything about this! The colours, the composition and showing the process in the post. Very beautiful Mr. Green I will certainly be keeping an eye on your blog, I can't wait to see more!

I would like to invite all the artists featured and those who are reading this to join the Minnowsupport Project! It's a great way to network, gain followers and chat with your peers in a more relaxed environment.
We also have a bot called @msp-creativebot that is designed to help the creative community!
I have made a newbie guide for joining MSP here:
I hope to see you in the pond!
