Creative t-shirt design
Part. 2
After my last post with the Amsterdam steemfest t-shirt design, some of the guys from Cyber-fund contacted me via @serejandmyself and asked to make original t-shirts for Peerhub.
They have an important launch in 4 days; a launch of a new blockchain platform based on the steem code and the Russian community seems to be very much excited about this event.
The first thing that popped into my head was the art of a Russian (Soviet) poet Mayakovski, I'm sure that if he were to be alive during our times, he would have been called a hipster.
His usual rhyming style was compensated by his satire; each word – a golden saying, hitting you like the pounding of a hammer.
One of his poems is called “The might of the voice” (Golos in Russian means voice), which really suits our theme.
Straight away, I remembered the unforgettable soviet posters “the growing of windows” and those memories fulfilled my design with a touch of charm. Obviously, I have chosen the “Rodchenko” type to mirror the feelings of that time.
Rodchenko was not only a friend of Mayakovski but a designer, a sculpture, a photographer and one of the pioneers of constructivism and design in the USSR.
Предыдущий пост с дизайном футболок для Стимфеста в Амстердаме и мне через @serejandmyself обратились ребята их киберфонда сделать их оригинальные футболки для Peerhub . У ребят через 4 дня выжное событие они запускают блокчейн на платформе Стима. Все русское сообщество находится в волнительном ожидании.
Сразу возникла ассоциация с творчеством Маяковского , если бы он жил в наше время наверняка его величали бы хипстером. Он был харизматичным поэтом , трибуном . Необычная рифма компенсировалась острой сатирой, каждое слово на вес золота золота , как удар молота! Одно из стихотворений называется «Во весь голос» прямо в точку по нашей теме. Сразу всплыли незабываемые плакаты «Окна РОСТА» , они и наполнили работы по дизайну своим неповторимым шармом. Шрифт естественно был выбран «Родченко» , как отражение той эпохи. Родченко был не только другом Маяковского , но графиком, скульптором, фотографом, одним из пионеров конструктивизма и родоначальником дизайна в СССР.
