"Ideal Point" | Gallery: Motifs

While trying to think of a title for this, I discovered just how much I don't know on the subject of maths.

At first, I thought, well, I don't need to know, but afterwards got to thinking... Just how much am I missing out on in terms of the possibilities of human experience by not understanding certain paradigms that come with learning more about advanced mathematics?

It can be frustrating to know that there is so much that we don't know. This is one of the main reasons I wish I could live for much, much longer than I'm going to...

“Life is an unfoldment, and the further we travel themore truth we can comprehend. To understand thethings that are at our door is the best preparation forunderstanding those that lie beyond.”

The Creation Process:

This originally came from the parameters of Geomethyst, which I haven't posted on Steemit yet:

Geomethyst has only two layers, made with "JWildFire"... For ideal point, I used 4 layers:

There's not much else to say. Each layer uses the same formulae, but with tweaked parameters. It has no inherent meaning really, like a lot of abstract art, besides what the observer gets from it. For me, it was the reminder of how much remains unknown to us throughout our lives, and how comfortable we become with our ignorance.
