Although the Steemit trend is to show how to draw an eye, a nose, a right leg, a left leg etc I will show you how to turn pen smudge into abstract art. You don' t have to have any drawing or painting skill, in fact the less skilful the better. You can show this to your kids too, they will love it, or you can do it during a long boring conference call.
Step 1: Draw curves, lines, circles anything you like.
Step 2 Draw MORE curves, lines and circles
Step 3 Go Crazy. When you are done, and have a really big ugly looking crazy drawing in place, you can draw on it a specific shape that will help you complete your envisaged masterpiece. I drew a heart.
Step 4: Look at the chaotic pattern and try to imagine how you could connect the shapes to make a recognizable form. Then start coloring. (I saw a potential couple in the heart shape so I worked towards it)
Be careful to keep your shape intact. Color in and out of its boundaries.
Finally....TA TA TA!!! Here you go office art in no time. With kids its more fun, you can turn them into little Picassos 😆
