Healing Herb

God given
Gift to man
Seed of life
Sprout from her earth,
With healing in her leaves,
Soothing the mind
body and soul.
Violated and hated
Misunderstood and abused,
She remains forever forgiving
Giving us good food.
Grown with grace and love
Holistic healing in her roots
Spirals like the cycles
Of infinite time.
Look into the natural,
For those who seek,
They will find,
A God made sacrament
For the wise.
