This piece, I didn't really have a clear direction... I could have just drawn a bee, to raise awareness about the poor suckers... But as soon as I drew the little masonic fez hat, I kept wanting to make it a big bee hat with rainbow ears...
I sort of went overboard, but I guess I didn't care... The best thing about moneyart, if it sucks I can still spend it in a machine! If it is USD, of course...
Add a bowtie like a coat and tails like a bee stripes, and he is starting to look like a funding father...
I think that is where I fell asleep last night... Oh well, I work better with morning coffee than evening cabernet... It still didn't look like a hat... Or a bee, anymore... I felt dangerously close to just spending it...
I managed to whittle away and see it in new ways... I was very tempted to put big white ears on Washington, which the wings would have been sprouting out of... But I had sort of a good thing going here...
I coulda woulda shoulda quit at this point... But I felt it could use a little background... This psychedelic honeycomb pattern is not what I was going for, but once I began I had to see it out... I mean, I enjoy the overall effect I have, when I look at it... But now I can just do more fez hats on politicians! LOL...
