Drawing with children. Spring flowers in watercolor. Step-by-step.

Hello my dear friends, followers and guests of my blog!
Today is a weekend, and it's a good reason to spend time with your family and children, and do something interesting and exciting.
I suggest you together with your children draw a picture of this spring.

It is drawn simply, quickly, fun and exciting.
And this is exactly what our children like!

To pain this picture we need watercolors, a brush, thick paper and a stand to place a sheet of paper in an upright position.

The first thing we do is wet the paper with water. This is done in order that our paint in the future freely flowed down the sheet.

Then we start drawing the background. It is better to work quickly so that the water does not dry on the sheet. The paint will flow down the wet paper. Children really like to watch this process. If you take several shades of paint for the background, you can observe very interesting blending of colors in the stains.

Then we turn to drawing flowers.
Tulips have a very simple form of buds.

Draw them with red paint, adding pink and orange shades.
And from the center of the bud down let the green paint.
It will be a flower stick.

Next we draw the leaves of the tulips.
Tulips have long, broad leaves. They are easy to draw with a brush from bottom to top.
To do this, you can use the paint that was below. Just raise it up and our leaves grow.

In a light tone, draw the leaves in the background.
And add colors to the background.

That's it, our picture is ready!
Easy, fast and fun we made a spring decoration for our house!

I wish you all a great weekend!
