My entry to Jenny's Art Contest is this time a Fantasy Mushroom made in Mixed Media :
Before starting, I just had my objective which was : A COLORFUL MUSHROOM. But no idea on how I would proceed. The process/technique developed itself just step after step :)
Here the detailed Process :
First I cover my paper with old book pages and white gesso. When dry, I cout the edges
Then I cover my full page with oil pastel.
Now I add a complete layer of dark acrylic point.
A second layer and I let dry ...
Now comes the fun and surprising part!
With a wooden stick I scratch my wished drawing in the acrylic paint.
I'm very excited to see the colours appearing!
I continue as such until I complete my drawing.
AND HERE IT IS, TADAAA!
