A warm greeting dear Steemians! In this opportunity I want to show my participation for the ART EXPLOSION Contest conducted by @juliakponsford, in which the theme to be treated on the WEEK 46 are the MASKS. In that sense I hope that my entry is liked by the judges (@juliakponsford & @vachemorte) and of course liked by all the readers of Steemit.

My participation is based on an Illustration that represents a Peacock Girl who is possessed by a Snake Mask, which the girl uses to acquire an evil and gloomy side that embodies the Snake, evidencing itself in the eyes and mouth of the Peacock Girl, leaving this way her innocent side that is personified by the Peacock. It should be noted that the graphic style used in the snake is particular in several of my works, so I opted to use it to express a bit of malice in this illustration.

Then you can follow the Process of this Illustration, where initially the Sketch is exposed, observing all the details that will be improved in the Digitization.

Next we can see the Digitization of the Sketch through the Vectorization in the Adobe Illustrator Program.

To continue, the colors that were used in the hair strands of the Peacock Girl were chosen, being these shades of Blue that represent the innocence of this bird.

Next the colors were added to the other peacocks that are appreciated in the illustration, which also form a crown on top of the Snake Mask. On the other hand, the color of the lips of the Peacock Girl was also added.

Then was defined the face color of the Peacock Girl that would fit with the blue tones of the Peacock hair and also a light blue was added, in the center that adorns the Snake Mask together with the Crown of Peacocks.

After all these steps, we continued to place the black stripes on the white snakes that make up the mask. With the application of white snakes with black stripes, it gives a gloomy sensation to the illustration.

And then the Final Result of the Peacock Girl with a Snake Mask Illustration is appreciated together to a light blue background with a dark blue frame.
