Hello fellow Steemians, here is my entry for Art Explosion Week 30 - Theme : Deviance.
This gentleman is most definitely behind bars for his deviant ways. As you can see, he looks none to happy. What kind of a life did this man have? He looks like he’s been put through hell and back, again and again. The dark eyes of a man without feelings... regret, remorse, dead.... soulless. God only knows what he’s been through. He was caught with his hands in the cookie jar. Locked up with no parole. Sentenced to die by electrocution. Done more than just stealing. I’ll pray he turns he eyes towards God, and repents for the horrible crimes he’s committed, I’ll pray that he will seek God each and every day through the Bible and find Jesus as his Savior. I’ll pray for him, before the electric chair takes this poor souls life!
Peace, Comfort, Guidance
I will pray for all his victims and their family members left behind. I’ll pray that they will all reach out to God asking Him for help; giving them, peace...comfort...guidance...strength... and closure. I pray that they will ask God to bring forth forgiveness into their hearts dissolving the hatred and bitterness they might be feeling at this time. Please Father may You bless all these people and show them Your amazing grace!
Ooops Forgot My Process
I keep forgetting to take pictures in process so I’m using the movie screen capture of the Procreate app that this was drawn on. YouTube video is after the picture.
...for all have sinned...
Romans 3:21-26(emphasis mine)
But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
