Cordial greetings steemians, hope you all are well. I am here again to participate in the artexplosion contest, which is organized by @juliakponsford. This is my 2nd time in this contest. I am again with watercolor of a horses head. Here it is....
I always try to make my focus point strong. In this watercolor, my focus point is the face of that horse. I take my more and more time as much as possible to establish my focus point. Without the face, I keep the other area blur of the horse. And put it jump by using a deep layer background.
Some steps of my work:
As usual, I like to draw first my subject with a 2b pencil.
Now the time to play with color. I always try to start painting on the top. Here is my 1st wash.
Again I start at the top for details. When I am on the way of detailing I complete my 1st touch to the eye of the horse. And I keep continuing do the work of detailing
After the finishing of the head. I work in the body of the horse. I leave it after 1st wash.
At last, I do the work of rein and give a heavy background.
