Don't be afraid it's just a drawing! I know many may be a little sensitive to horror images, but I love them, I don't suffer from ghost fear at all, in fact it was 3 a.m. when I drew this.
Why do I draw something creepy? Because it is the 51st week of the ART EXPLOSION contest, in which the theme is "Paranormal", for which I have brought out the terrifying lover of fear and the intangible entities within me.
Materials:
- Autodesk Skecthbook
- Adobe Photoshop
-Step 1:
I started with a simple sketch, the main idea was a possessed girl surrounded by some ghosts.
-Step 2:
Since the sketch looked pretty good, I went to color immediately using a diffuse brush to establish the colors of the illustration.
-Step 3:
I wanted to give special emphasis to the eyes, since they would denote possession, for which I have begun by detailing them, seeking the greatest possible realism. I have not finished and defined too much the body to establish a ghostly touch.
-Step 4:
It's time to draw the ghosts, I thought to make a kind of poltergaist child in the background, but I rejected the idea, replacing it with the old spirit, in this way I gave more dynamism to the illustration.
-Step 5:
Finally I have added the last details, improving the balance of color I have given it a darker touch, also I have added some handprints on the body of the girl, that last one fascinated me. In addition I have given some retouches to the texture of the ghosts and I have added a shadow of skull the bottom, not to leave it so empty.
I'll leave you a little gif with the whole process in it, so you can better observe the step by step.
