Hi there!
This is the second time I have been challenged with the amazing concepts and ideas made by @lilyraabe. It's great to be able to follow this challenge because it keeps my minds constantly innovating so it makes me more creative.
And on this second occasion I'm still trying to introduce a drawing technique called tape art using brown packing tape. In order for more and more people who are familiar with this technique so that someone is interested to try it.
Here I am still working with a video maker group from banda aceh who invites me to collaborate with the violinist community in fundraising for Palestine.
I think this is a positive movement, and I can introduce this technique directly in front of society, and second this is a charity event that can form social souls. Here I draw a picture of four smiling children. I illustrate the faces of childhood Palestinians who can always smile despite their unhappy lives in other parts of the world.
And this is the end result
For the material I use this only
- 1 Roll the brown tape as a substitute for paint
- 1 Acrylic plastic sheet instead of canvas
- 1 Knife instead of brush
By using the backlight I used the light to see the color gradations resulting from the thickness of the brown packing tape.
In the first instance I immediately sketched using tape without the aid of a pencil or mold at all.
And for the second stage to the next, I start to give layers of tape and then cut it to get the picture as I want. For the cutting method I cut it slowly so that the blade did not penetrate the tape so it tore out the thin acrylic plastic I used as a canvas.
That's some of the processes behind making this my artwork. And here I attach my Extra Credit or the performance collaboration documentation I do. I draw with the accompaniment of violin chants that really give me a good mood and spirit to keep working.
Thanks for reading my post, I hope this post can be useful for anyone who read it. And if you like this post please resteem and upvote or please comment if there are things you want to ask, I'll be happy to answer it.
