Hello my friends! Today I will show you a fun crafts project, how to paint dragon eyes. These are the dragon eyes I've just finished.
This is what you need:
- lots of nail polish bottles that you probably don't use any more, like bright colors :)
- a large needle or a toothpick or a fine painting brush or a nail design tool
- a bag of glass pebbles from the dollar store
Here is my nail polish stock :)
First step is to paint a black line in the center. You can just draw a straight line with the black nail polish brush, or drop some nail polish on a piece of paper and use it with the fine brush. Also, you can put a drop of black nail polish directly on the glass pebble and use the needle to create two opposite lines, as shown in the picture:
Make as many as you want, the more the better, because you practice and you will definitely get better at it!
Next step is to apply another coat of nail polish. I suggest you use a shiny nail polish. After applying, use the toothpick or the needle to create some "rays" around the center line, as shown in picture:
Let dry. After completely dried, apply the last nail polish coat. This coat will give the eye the predominant color, so chose it wisely. I suggest bright colors. You can also use two coats. Let it dry overnight.
Now you have plenty of dragon eyes! You can use them in any other cool projects, use your imagination and have fun!
