I don't really listen to rap music much anymore

I prefer EDM now, however I have listened to rap a lot throughout my life.
Ab-Soul stems from the group "Black Hippy", of TDE (Top Dawg Entertainment). This is the same West Coast group that both Kendrick Lamar and Schoolboy Q sprouted from, along with Jay Rock and Ab-Soul.

Ab-Soul was probably the least popular of all 4 of those guys, but his lyrics usually resonated with me the most. His song "Pineal Gland" was always one of my favorites. It is a vivid tune about smoking DMT and a casual trip across time and space.
