Hello steemians ! I would like to share a Autism awareness and training program we organized in Sylhet. As a human rights and social activist, I got chance to work for autistic children in my Sylhet City . School Of Joy was arranging seminar, training and awareness program on autism for few years. And as a volunteer, I was working through the school's facebook page to build awareness and help people know about autism. We last organized a program with help of Apasen International and Phoenix School in 3 and 4 February 2017.
4th February, 2017
School Of Joy organized a training program for teachers and parents from different schools. As a youth activist in Sylhet, I joined in the program to help School Of Joy and trainers of the event.
I am with Shelina, Jubeda, Veronica after two days long autism training at Royal Hospital, Sylhet Bangladesh.
It was the second day of the program and I wish to share both first and second day in a single post.

On February 2017, I was translating the speech of Veronica. She was explaining how to understand kids with autism and how to treat with them at school and home. Parents and teachers from different schools also shared their experiences with their autistic kids. Veronica was also sharing what difficulties autistic kids face and how we can change their social behavior.
Teachers from different autistic school are separated for group work so they can share their own experience with other teachers and they also given tasks to do. Here, Shelina was instructing trainees about their tasks.
