New Announcement!!
Starting Round 10 of the Bad Karaoke Contest, we will reverting back to the one week round schedule and eliminating the voting post. The Bad Karaoke Contest has received many regular entries and we are confident the contest is popular enough to stand its ground each week.
Starting Round 10- we will be holding the Bad Karaoke Contest rounds each week and contestants will be urged to ask their followers to upvote their entry in the original contest post. We will be using the total number of votes on the original post to tally up the final voting count.
We encourage all our contestants to enter as soon as the contest post is published.
Winners of the contest will receive:
• 1st Place- 50% of SBD of original post-payout
• 2nd Place- 30% of SBD of original post-payout
• 3rd Place- 20% of SBD of original post-payout
Once the votes are tallied, we will divide the SBD payout of the original post between the winners. Please allow up to two days for the transfer.
We added the reminder post payout to the round seven prize which totaled… 3.161 SBD.
Currently, we are in the middle of Round Eight of the Bad Karaoke Contest. You still have some time to enter… or enter your second entry for round Eight!
Rules
• Make a post of your entry or leave a video in the comments.
• Post your entry on your Steemit page and use the tag #badkaraoke.
• Copy a link to your post and include it in a comment on the post.
• Tell all your friends to vote for your entry by upvoting your comment.
• Upvote the post before the end of the payout period.
• If you want the contest to grow please resteem the post.

The entries will be scored 1-5 (30 possible points a week) on the following factors:
• Originality- Picking a song that is not sung often, or is very hard to sing.
• Performance- Hand gestures or creative puppets, and passion for song.
• Community Favorite- Amount of upvotes in the comments.
Congratulations to the winners!!! As you can see, it was a very close contest, and the total number of comment upvotes on all the posts for round seven was the foremost factors in deciding the winner! We loved seeing everyone’s videos and, in our eyes, you are all Bad Karaoke champions!!!
