Welcome to @simgirlandsnook’s Bad Karaoke Contest!
Since this is a new contest, we have decided to hold this contest in rounds which will consist of two weeks. Every two weeks we will start a new round.
Because the payout of our Steemit posts is one week, participants can enter once a week as originally planned. This will give you two chances to win the top prize!
Winners of the contest will receive:
• 1st Place- 50% of SBD of original post-payout
• 2nd Place- 30% of SBD of original post-payout
• 3rd Place- 20% of SBD of original post-payout
Once seven days have passed, we will divide the SBD payout of the original post between the winners. Please allow up to two days for the transfer.
Currently, we are in the middle of Round Three of the Bad Karaoke Contest.

Judges for the Bad Karaoke contest are @snook and @simgirl.
The entries are scored 1-5 (30 possible points a week) on the following factors:
• Originality- Picking a song that is not sung often, or is very hard to sing.
• Performance- Hand gestures or creative puppets, and passion for song.
• Community Favorite- Amount of upvotes in the comments.

Judges’ Comments: The song choice was very original and he sung it with lots of feeling. We give him props for suggesting his followers guess the show for the theme song, which was the Fall Guy. He takes us on a nostalgic trip back to a simpler time when stuntmen could also be heroes! Great Job @c0ff33a! Hope to see you in the next round.
This round we had a tie second place and the prize for second and third place will be split evenly.

Judges’ Comments: We loved the enthusiasm and energy of her performance, and that she ran out of breath! This song is a classic karaoke song, but it is very hard to sing, as @byn has shown us here in this wonderful Bad Karaoke! We hope that this contest will become a regular part of @byn’s Steemit challenges, and we are thrilled she used our contest to try something new!

Judges’ Comments: @fishyculture brings us another wonderful Bad Karaoke this week with Patsy Cline’s “Crazy”. This is another classic karaoke song, and we can hear the passion for the lyrics in her voice. We loved that she provided a slideshow explaining how crazy in love she is with her family. It was a sweet entry, and we look forward to hearing more from @fishyculture soon.
