The other day, The Banana Collective posted a cool photo about Banana Bread Beer, with a banana swimming in beer while banana slices were jumping around.
Trust me, you gotta see it: Liquidy Banana Goodness
It got me to thinkin' about several things: (a) banana beer, (2nd) banana bread, and (lastly) the nutritional content of both of those. 'Cause I am a Banana Nutritionist, so it is my primary purpose and mission in life to educate every one of you on the do's and don'ts of foods, especially when it comes to bananas. I've always known that I have a gift for knowin' what's what when it comes to food and nutrition and all of that, so that's why I chose bein' a Nutritionist as my life path. And I am more than happy to answer any and all questions every one of you might have about nutrition or bananas, and especially about banana nutrition.
Okay, where was I? Oh yeah, the Banana Bread Beer posting we did a while back.
So here's what I realized, after doin' just a little bit of googling: There are a ton of banana bread recipes on the internet. Lots of really great vegan ones, too, using no dairy or eggs. But you know what else? There are actually recipes to make sweet loaf breads using beer, aka Beer Bread. So you know what I think we might have here? An opportunity to make...

Did you get that? We'd use Banana Bread Beer (which is a product's name, by the way) to make Beer Bread. But not just any beer bread. It would be made with bananas, thus Banana Beer Bread.
That's why I said: Banana Bread Beer Banana Beer Bread
I was gonna find a real good recipe for, let's just abbreviate it, shall we: BBBBBB, and then also do the nutritional breakdown for you so that you could see how GOOD this snack is.
But I don't have the time right now 'cause I gotta go pick Havana up at school and take her to swimmin' lessons. So, let me just assure you that it is pretty likely that BBBBBB has some good nutrients in it for you, if you decide to find a recipe and make it. I know that 'cause I know that BANANAS have a lot of good nutrition, like, of course, Potassium and a bunch of B Vitamins, and I'm pretty sure Vitamin C too. But I gotta leave now, or I'll be late pickin' Havana up from school.
Feel free to ask me any of your nutritional questions. If I can figure out a good answer, I'll get back to you.
I cannot understand why she did not ask ME, Chef B. Foster, for a recipe for ze Banana Bread. I have many such recipes. Zut alors!
